This houjicha is an exquisite blend made from roasted tea stems and brown rice, offering a unique and toasty flavor with every sip. Beloved in Ishikawa Prefecture, this tea features a mellow aroma achieved by using matcha stems instead of the usual sencha stems. This gives the tea a subtle sweetness that harmonizes beautifully with the earthy notes of roasted brown rice, creating a refreshing and comforting flavor.

Brewing Directions

• Hot Tea:
  1. Pour 150ml of hot water (90-95°C) over one tea bag.
  3. Let steep for 1-2 minutes.
  4. 2. Iced Tea:
        1. Pour 150ml of hot water (90-95°C) over two tea bags.
        3. Let steep for 2-3 minutes.
        5. Add 150g of ice and stir until melted.
